Jenn Walker grew up in a small town in Vermont where community closeness and involvement was the fabric of her upbringing.  Jenn’s family had a large backyard garden where she learned the importance of working hard to cultivate a tangible product- weeding and harvesting were among her chores.  Before “Organic Living” was fad nouveau, Jenn’s family instilled lifestyle principals with great food and generosity- home is where the heart is!  She has a big, loving family who make a point to get together for holidays to cook lavish scratch meals, play music and make memories. It was an important part of her growth so naturally she gravitated towards Hospitality and eventually, Real Estate.

Jenn went to UVM for a couple of exciting years but left early to travel around the country, stopping in various states to site see, eat with the locals and camp the terrain.  She landed in San Francisco with friends and spent six months absorbing the culture.  From there, Jenn moved to San Diego where she resided and worked in Hospitality for three years, then moved onto Hawaii, Auckland NZ, and finally returned to New England to settle in Boston in 2008.  

Jenn opened several new restaurants in Boston and was hired specifically to set up programs, procedures and create organization with a focus on guest experience and high level hospitality.  Jenn moved to Connecticut with her husband and two daughters in 2012 and began working for Barteca Restaurant Group when there were just nine restaurants.  Jenn was the New Store Opening Director, creating the processes and programs for opening both bartaco and Barcelona restaurant concept stores (29 locations).  During her six year tenure, Jenn would impact almost every cornerstone of the support center, lending reinforcement and creating high level efficiencies that would eventually help lead the company to acquisition in 2018.  

This is when Jenn began learning the intricacies of Commercial Real Estate, diving into market study, scouting properties, reviewing and abstracting contracts, managing company rental properties and acting as Power of Attorney for several Real Estate property purchases. Jenn’s real-time research and development gave her the foundation for her transition into Residential Real Estate.
